LA Comedy Live is excited to announce that one of  the most popular comedians in India, ROHAN JOSHI will bring his hilarious live show, ‘LOL Stars FEAT Rohan Joshi’ to Singapore on Feb 25, 2018 at NTUC Centre Auditorium!

Rohan Joshi is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer, and TV presenter, born and raised in Mumbai.  He is best known as the member of India’s most celebrated comedy group called All India Bakchod (AIB). After graduating from Jai Hind College, Joshi worked as a journalist for CNBC for a while. He was a part of events such as the Hamateur Nights at Blue Frog, a testament to the fledgling comedy scene in India before 2010.

AIB functions as the crossroads at which India’s most widely-heard comedy Podcast, its best-selling live stand-up collective and one of its Top 30 YouTube channels meet. Comprising Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya, AIB are widely regarded as India’s premier comedic tour-de-force across multiple forms of media. The group maintains a YouTube channel that shows their comedy sketches and parodies on topics such as politics, society, and the Hindi film industry, and much of their reputation was founded on their online presence.

Their YouTube channel by the same name has over a million subscribers and nearly every video has more that thousand hits. They’ve collaborated with celebrities like Alia Bhat and Superwoman for their videos. Their videos have snarky yet comical appeal. Besides their YouTube channel, individually the AIB members have a massive online following on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. With a ground-breaking presence online the next sane step was to venture into the live comedy scene in India. And that’s what they did.

In 2011, Rohan performed at the most prestigious and biggest comedy festival in the world, the “Fringe Festival” in Edinburgh. The same year, he also joined a selected group of Indian comics to perform at the Comedy Store, hosted in London.

Rohan Joshi’s humour is observational, sarcastic and often laced with social commentary about the city, the country and their idiosyncrasies. Through his blog and AIB, perhaps RoJo (as he is also called) shines best in taking the mickey out of everything regressive, intolerant, and bigoted by ridiculing it, until the laughter stops.

Apart from this group, Joshi has also written and hosted for TV’s ‘Top Gear’ auto show.

Catch the handsome comedian perform take a dig at everything from Indian / International politics to pop culture, relationships and more! Don’t miss out!
