LA Comedy Live is excited to announce that Kenny Sebastian is bringing his all-new comedy special show ‘The Most Interesting Person In The Room to Singapore’ for one night only on 22 November 2019!

Sebastian uses a unique blend of humor and music to entertain audiences as he shares on his outlook on life has changed ever since he turned 28 in his 6th stand-up comedy special. He also shares about animals, birds, and why the world being lazy around him is getting on his nerves.

The last time when he was in Singapore two years ago, Sebastian brought his enchanting charm to the stage at two sold-out shows. Since then, he has launched his sold-out comedy special ‘Don’t Be That Guy’ and a new show ‘Die Trying’ on Amazon video to much anticipation.

Expect a night of jokes, music, and a lot of unnecessary act outs as Sebastian’s sixth special is tighter, darker, and weirder than before.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

Kenny Sebastian’s known for his humorous and creative takes on banal everyday situations. The Bangalore-based comedian is at home on the internet and on the stage, with a rare ability to make even the stiffest faces smirk. Born into a middle class family and raised across different cities in India has helped Kenneth Sebastian develop a keen sense of observation of culture, people and stereotypes, all of which have found its way into his comedy.

 

An art school graduate, Kenny dabbled in painting, music and film-making before he finding his true calling in the form of stand-up comedy.  Kenny started his YouTube channel ‘Kenny Sebastian’ on April 14, 2008 with his first video, “9 Hours To Live”. His YouTube channel is now a delightful amalgamation of vlogs comprising hilarious sketches about everyday narratives of how Indians brush their teeth, drive on the streets, talk on their phones and aloofly treat their ‘resilient’ beggars, parodies, and covers of pop songs.

 

Sebastian did his first stage show at just 19, winning the stand-up comedy competition at the IIT fest in Mumbai. Since then, he has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the world of stand-up comedy not just in India, but around the world.

 

Sebastian, who has grown up watching Seinfeld, has not shied away from scripted and television shows. He has scripted and performed along with a bunch of other well-known comics in ‘The Living Room: India’s first English improv sketch show’ which hilariously traces the perils of all things mundane from having a rather persistent landlady to an interfering mother-in-law and is, most importantly, one of the first two local shows to go live on Comedy Central.

 

Today, he has performed in over 1000 shows all over the world, alongside many famous comedians such as Vir Das, Phil Nichol (UK), Raj Sharma (US, HBO), Imran Yusuf (UK) at leading venues.
