LA Comedy Live is excited to announce that Rising Indian  comedian, KENNY SEBASTIAN, will bring his successful, ‘KENNY SEBASTIAN LIVE’ tour to Singapore on 17/18 Aug, 2017 at Nexus Auditorium!

“The 25-year-old made his mark in the comedy scene this year, performing all over the country and producing some kick-ass online content.” - Buzzfeed India

Kenny Sebastian’s known for his humorous & creative takes on banal everyday situations. Born into a middle class family and raised across different cities in India helped Kenneth Sebastian develop a keen sense of observation of culture, people and stereotypes, all of which have found its way into his comedy.

A graduate from an art school, Kenny dabbled with painting, music and film making with an Editors’ credit on a feature film before he found his true calling in the form of stand up comedy.  Kenny started his YouTube channel ‘Kenny Sebastian’ on April 14, 2008 with his first video called “9 hours to live”. He first made parodies and covered popular songs and shot to fame. His nine-year old YouTube channel is now a delightful amalgamation of v-blogs comprising hilarious sketches about everyday narratives of how Indians brush their teeth, drive on the streets, talk on their phones and aloofly treat their ‘resilient’ beggars.

As of 2017, his channel has over 700k subscribers and over 70 million+ views. Kenneth did his first stage show when he was just 19. He had participated in a stand-up comedy competition at the IIT fest in Mumbai and eventually won it.

Sebastian, who has grown up watching Seinfeld, has not shyed away from venturing into the space of television channels either, which often enjoys the monopoly of most things not improv. He has scripted and performed along with a bunch of other well-known comics in ‘The Living Room: India’s first English improv sketch show’ which hilariously traces the perils of all things mundane from having a rather persistent landlady to an interfering mother-in-law and is, most importantly, one of the first two local shows to go live on Comedy Central.

Today, he has performed in over 500 shows in the last five years, alongside many famous comedians such as Vir Das, Phil Nichol (UK), Raj Sharma (US, HBO), Imran Yusuf (UK) and more.

2017 also marked another Milestone for Kenny as he released his 5th Sold out stand-up special named, ‘Don’t Be That Guy.’ on AMAZON. He shares his observations on turning 26, rationality behind behind everyone’s behaviour and more, using humour and music. His other accolades include his association to ‘The Improvisers’, which is a group of 4 comedians - Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, Kaneez Surka and Abish Mathew.  This is one of the highest rated comedy groups in India and they have gained international recognition.

Don’t miss out on this show as Kenny is well on his way to change the face of comedy, not only in India but also all across the world.
